Environmental issues span across multiple industries and impact business decisions on a daily basis. There is increased pressure for companies to develop and implement environmentally friendly operations and reduce their carbon footprint. The impact of regulatory policies and market forces impacts all industries from agriculture to manufacturing is ever increasing. Knowing the issues under the Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, Federal Insecticide Fungicide and Rodenticide Act, Endangered Species Act and Toxic Substances Control Act allows DCLRS to inform our clients of changes that will impact their organizations. Public policy does not always recognize the benefits to the environment, public health and the economy associated with the use of technology, such as chemicals and biotechnology.

DCLRS advocates on behalf of technology providers to promote sound environmental policies, as well as the adoption of newer and innovative technologies that improve environmental protections and conserve energy and water. We are deeply engaged in legislative and regulatory policy issues related to the use of water, and the regulation of fertilizers, pesticides, biotechnology and other chemicals. We are also engaged in regulatory policy issues related to greenhouse gases, climate change, and general manufacturing issues.
