Matthew A. Brien
Director of Business Development and Finance
Matt Brien joined DCLRS fulltime in June 2011 as the Director of Business Development and Finance.
Previously, Matt had worked for DCLRS for three summers. In addition to his past work at DCLRS, he volunteered for the McCain Campaign during the 2008 Presidential Election. Matt also has experience as a business consultant where he focused on the marketing aspect of a small business to attain government contracts.
Matt graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Business with concentrations in entrepreneurial management and corporate finance. He was involved with the College Republicans and was a founding member of the Virginia Tech Chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success (Sigma Alpha Pi) serving as Treasurer from 2010-2011.
